This once belonged to my grandparents, who were born in the early 1900's. I'd like to see if this is something of value. Thanks.
seems to be an Ampire style Wood gilt Mirror. if You could upload more photo I can determine if gilt was repainted, it looks like gold paint and not an actual gilt. mirror engraving are certainly hand made but probably made later. original french ampire were usually cut with facet along the couture. yet the mirror as it is today is very decorative and in a retail price can be sold in couple of hundreds. reference is for less tradable mirror the was sold online.
